Our City based Financial Services client is looking for an HR Project consultant to join them asap for 6 months (this could go longer depending on project requirements) paying between £300-400 per day
Role:
- Working title - HR Projects
- Responsible for delivering self funding efficiency and effectiveness improvements within the Global HR function
- Work is expected to take the form of short, high intensity projects, that quickly deliver cost savings and / or employee experience benefits
- Training parts of the HR function and senior management in processes and applications is also expected to be needed
- Team needs to be self funding i.e. save what they cost per year (considered possible)
- Role will be international so travel to the Far East, India and Middle East will be needed. Extended visits (e.g. 2 - 3 weeks) likely to be needed at times.
Type of person:
- Ex big firm consultant background is essential to the nature of the role and you will have reached mid level consultant to junior manager before leaving.
- Ideally you will need to have more than 2 years experience at the consultancy
- Have built up a good track record of process reengineering, PeopleSoft HR (or similar) implementations and training users (This is key - you will need to be able to quickly see where the business is not leveraging their technology platform, aren't following agreed processes, identify root causes and then resolve them ASAP)

An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client, a progressive South West London Borough who are looking for a an Independent BIA.
You must have a BIA qualification and have worked in a similar role. The role would be expected to take up 7 hours a week, but if it was over this more hours could be claimed for.
Requirements for the role would be as follows;
1- Liaison with legal services as required to ensure adherence to statutory requirements for DOLS
2- Co-ordinate a bi-monthly Best Interest Assessor meeting to ensure that all BIA's are competent and have up to date knowledge
3- Distribute case law updates and good practice guidance as required
4- Available to Best Interest Assessors for advice Mon - Fr 9:00-5:30. Calls to be returned within 2hrs.
5- Email address available for BIA's to send draft assessments to for checking prior to submission to the Supervisory Body.
6- Available to the Supervisory Body for consultation regarding their role in scrutinising the DoLS Assessments
7- Available to the S.12 doctors to discuss cases Mon - Fri 9:00-5:30.
8- Ensure that all requirements have been assessed effectively 1 day prior to presentation to the Supervisory Body
9- Direct liaison with the Safeguarding Co-ordinator who will be presenting papers to the Supervisory Body and ensuring deadlines for the completion of the assessments are adhered to.
Essential criteria:
1- minimum 2 years post Best Interest Assessor qualification experience.
2- Completion of recent refresher training covering legal updates
3- Completion of a minimum of 8 assessments/ reviews
4- Up to date knowledge of Case Law
In order to be successful for this role you must have previous post qualifying experience of adults care management and preferably of working with adults in mental health. You must also hold a DipSW qualification, GSCC registration and current CRB check.
