Mechanical/Product Design Engineer - Solidworks - Electrical/Electronic/Optical. My Client a leading manufacturer are looking for highly skilled Mechanical/product Design Engineers to join their team working on some newly won exciting projects, the highly skilled mechanical/product design engineer will have knowledge, skills and experience in some of the following:*CAD experience Solidworks - Appreciation of other disciplines (eg Electrical/Electronic/Optical) effect on Mechanical Design.*Good working knowledge of MRP and PLM Systems (SAP & Agile useful)*Relevant engineering based design work within a similar environment.*Basic PC skills (word, excel, outlook, Powerpoint) - Solidworks, or Pro - E.*Excellent communication skills.*Creative and thoughtful approach to solving engineering & CAD/Solidworks challenges.*Hardworking, flexible and adaptable.*Mechanical based apprenticeship to HNC level with 4 years experience or Degree and 2 years experience.*Familiarity of Fiber Optic or Laser based products.*Hands on machining and assembly experience.*Thermal Analysis experience.
